LAX EATERS

LA CROSSE, WI -

Trevor "Atlas" Dammon walked onto the Riverside Park Bandshell with a target on his back. Defending waffle eating champion and record holder in every LAX EATERS food category, the other nine eaters were eager to knock him from the top.

Five minutes and twenty four seconds later, "Atlas" left the LAX EATERS competitors and fans with no doubts as to who was the king.

Finishing in second place at the event was Peter "Bandit" Coppola, finishing his eight grilled cheese sandwiches in eight minutes and four seconds, pulling off the stunning upset over Fritz "Big Nasty" Wiggert, who many predicted would take the top spot from Dammon.

Big Nasty finished third in a time of ten minutes and twenty six seconds.

The first grilled cheese contest drew large crowds and was an enormous success. Please join us next week to see if "Atlas" can continue his reign of eating terror with a never before tested food: pickles!
